SundialsS+T had a talk on Sun Dials, presented by Phil. The history and science was discussed along with imagery of the different types of dial and practical information on making your own dial.

Technology and Science group had an excellent talk delivered byJim Crawford, of Formby U3A, last Wednesday, 24th Feb..
The subject was the ‘development of the Panama canal’.
A record breaking 25 folk saw the amazing work going into making the canal ‘fit for purpose’ for the 21st Century.
