Postponement of Birmingham February trip

Hi all

I have just received an email, it’s a shame for us but Birmingham have decided to do some much needed  upgrade to some of the Museum, therefore closing the whole place, except for one small area

This information was not available when I made enquiries last year.

I feel it’s not cost effective to go to see just the Cathedral, beautiful though it is.

Let me know if you are in agreement please before I cancel the coach etc.

I am proposing we rebook late summer, which is the expected reopening .

Another art event will be available soon.

January 19th Victoria Gallery and Museum.

Friday January 2024 Join Art with our Curator Amanda Draper, as she explores the work of Fanchon Fröhlich. Abstract Expressionist, Philosopher and Physicist, Fanchon creates her own quantum realms within her art, questioning the notions of observation, existence, and aesthetics. Anna will explore the work of Fröhlich’s contemporaries and their connections to the artists’ practice, in order to contextualise her abstract thinking.

11.am train to central then either bus / taxi  or walk up to Victoria Gallery and Museum Ashton Street Liverpool L69 3DR, at back of Metropolitan Cathedral

arrival time 12.noon for lunch if required?  tour. 1.30 pm

Lucky for someone? Cornwall trip March 22 / 25

Sad for someone, maybe lucky for someone else, as this trip was previously full.

We have four cancellations due to unexpected circumstances for this trip. We are now booked at a nearby Premier Inn,  Hayle Cornwall, a short drive from St Ives, at £30 00 extra pax., with b/b and a two course  evening meal deal..  As you may be aware the Premier Inn breakfasts are famously substantial, don’t think we will require a lunch.
