Digital cameras – Seascapes
We got some great photos for the ’Seascapes’ subject. Thanks to everyone
who came along to the meeting on Monday and entered your pictures. It was a challenge finding what we consider ‘the best’. Below are the pictures we selected.

Tech and science – Genetics
This Wednesday (22) we will be taking a look at the
History and Science of Genetics
All are welcome – Kensington house at 2.30
We have ‘balloon flight’ pencilled in for March 8th.

Practical gardening – Spring update
Hello everyone. Gardening is not far away, especially planning the garden. No doubt we all lost some of our favourite plants, l lost 50% of my tropical collection and the remaining ones that survived l am waiting for a sign of new growth.
We should be noticing an improvement next month so it’s a good time now to find a nice day and dig over the border lift and divide clumps of perennials. Any spare we could exchange between ourselves especially as we are going to notice a big rise in prices at the garden centres. l have ordered some new seed varieties l am going to sow hopefully I will share them with you .

Table games group
Interested in bridge, Scrabble or another table game. We are looking for new members.

The Sunday strollers group is restarting in February with a monthly
program, usually on the third Sunday. More details to follow.
