NEW DAY TRIP

We will be travelling to Temple Newsam near Leeds. This lovely Tudor  house dates back over 500 years and we will be visiting with access to the House, Gardens and the Conservation Farm which is one of largest rare breed farms in Europe.  The house is bursting with treasures, has witnessed many colourful characters and is the birthplace of Lord Darnley, whose Mother was a niece of Henry V111 and he was married to Mary Queen of Scots. We will have tea/coffee on arrival and a guided tour.  Lovely gardens to browse. There are special activities on at the Farm during our visit and plenty of new lambs. There are 2 Gift Shops and a shop selling local produce, plants, ice cream etc. We will enjoy a light lunch of sandwiches, cream scone with jam.

WHEN? Wed.16th April 2025. Departing 8.45am Returning 6pm. Seats are on sale. PRICE:  £30 includes tea/coffee on arrival/guided tour/light lunch of sandwiches, cream scone, jam
