I have 29 members booked after yesterdays coffee morning.  The luxury coach I have booked holds 39 passengers.

Can members who have booked a place , please arrange to pay by forwarding a cheque to George or pay at the desk on Tuesday morning

This trip is one that Book Club members might enjoy as we are visiting the Samuel Johnson Museum, well know. as the man who wrote the first English Dictionary

Cornwall Wine Tour Late Sept/Early Oct 2025

I had 27 members indicating their interest at Tuesdays coffee morning. Accordingly, i have a 39 seater luxury coach to be with us for the whole of the tour.  I will restrict numbers to 35 members

NEW DAY TRIP

We will be travelling to Temple Newsam near Leeds. This lovely Tudor  house dates back over 500 years and we will be visiting with access to the House, Gardens and the Conservation Farm which is one of largest rare breed farms in Europe.  The house is bursting with treasures, has witnessed many colourful characters and is the birthplace of Lord Darnley, whose Mother was a niece of Henry V111 and he was married to Mary Queen of Scots. We will have tea/coffee on arrival and a guided tour.  Lovely gardens to browse. There are special activities on at the Farm during our visit and plenty of new lambs. There are 2 Gift Shops and a shop selling local produce, plants, ice cream etc. We will enjoy a light lunch of sandwiches, cream scone with jam.
