FINAL DETAILS FOR OUR BREAK IN WESTON SUPER MARE are now ready to be collected from our table from Tuesday 22nd October. Your package contains itinerary details and luggage label etc. However, where two people are sharing a twin room ALFA has only sent one lot of information so you will need to share that. The letter does have information pertaining to both of you. They are also trialling a new style luggage label and would like our feedback. Please let me know what you think. I have asked for the trip days to be reversed to what was requested as outlined in our own itinerary. ENJOY
I have 2 trips on AFF , St Johns Beacon and Christmas Lunch
There has been some confusion re. “members booking trips” and some members may unfortunately miss out on either of the above
Can all members who have their names on either of the above “trip lists” , please arrange to pay by Tuesday 22nd October , I have a reserve list (with members eager to pay) for both events and consideration will be given to members on that list if payments are not received by “post” , “delivery” or “at the AFF desk” on Tuesday 22nd October
In future members may book a place on the trip by text or email , a separate list will be kept and only when a member has paid the full amount for the trip will their name be transferred to the trip list and a place secured, alternatively , members may “book a place and pay” at AFF desk
No names will go on a trip sheet without payment
Many of our members are also keen members of the Maghull Station Volunteers and it is through their diligence and keen eye for colour that we have such a welcoming station.
The flower beds, the old train, the bicycle and its wicker basket reflect the care that the Volunteers give to the station making it such a delight as we travel hither and there.
Currently the station is in a World Cup of Stations competition and as this prize is awarded by the public we thought you might like to have the details of how you can show the Volunteers how much our station means to us.
Enter https://www.merseyrail.org/world-cup-of-stations/ into your browser and if you want to, give our station the thumbs up!!
Voting opens tomorrow and runs for three days
