More Tidy info, no joke!
Hi all
As we are not at the u3a on Tuesday 6th August, I am hoping those of you have booked in for the Bill Tidy talk at Atkinsons will see this post and pass on the information to any friends who are also going. I still don’t have emails addresses for everyone.
Atkinsons – we are still having technical issues , therefore can’t accept any card payments for cafe etc. If you want to have lunch here bring CASH. Take care Maureen
Scams Alert
One of our ‘favourite’ scams is doing its rounds again. It’s the Amazon card scam – ‘can you help me’ etc. Please be alert and remember not to commit to anything until you have checked with the person who ‘apparently’ sent it to you.

Hot Ramble in Fence
11 members of the rambling group plus one guest undertook a very hot 8 mile walk today from the pretty village of Fence within the Forest of Bowland area of outstanding natural beauty.. The initial part of the route was clear and easy to navigate. Whilst we were walking through the first field we spotted a roe deer in the distance, but it was too quick to photograph.
