Stramblers 2 took the train to Chester to walk along the walls, part of the Shropshire Union Canal and part of the river Dee.

Ann Willox very kindly led the walk, which she had previously led for Stramblers 1. We were very fortunate with the weather, it was warm and sunny, no rain!  Ann pointed out many places of interest along the walk and were very lucky to see a Roman Centurion leading a party of schoolchildren through Roman Gardens.
