of Winetime at Scatchards on Tuesday May 23rd.
The “usual fare” of 6 wines, cheese, meat, olives, biscuits etc.
Cost is £9 for tasting and £9 for taxi transfer to and from the event (taxi leaves 6.20pm from Maghull ,Square and returns approx. 9.45/10.00pm to Maghull Square)

A story of gamekeepers and Innkeepers in Kate’s family, who travelled from Suffolk to Nottinghamshire (via Essex, Yorkshire, North Wales and Lincolnshire) between 1800 and 1930.
What some of their very distinguished employers got up to. Titles and grand country houses come up again and again.
10 members of the rambling group today completed an 8 mile circuit of Lyme Park, a national trust property in Cheshire and the surrounding moors . In spite of the poor weather forecast we were really lucky and escaped the rain apart from a few random rain drops. Continue reading
