Up date on Dunham Massey
The cost of Dunham Massey trip is – National Trust Members £12 and Non National Trust members is £26 payable by cheque if possible. Coach included in price. Coach departs Maghull Square 9.30am prompt and returns Maghull Square – 6pm approx.
Wine Tasting 2nd March 2023
Arrangements are in hand to hold a further tasting at Winetime at Scatchards.

Scorton to Nicky Nook Circular
Six ramblers set off from Scorton, near Garstang, in mild, breezy weather to walk to the top of Nicky Nook.
A mile into the walk the leader Alan’s boot parted company with the sole. After harvesting an elastic band, a piece of string and most of Shirley’s roll of surgical tape the boot was repaired and surprisingly lasted for the rest of the walk!
The rest of the walk passed without incident although there were some muddy stretches to negotiate. The weather kept dry and we enjoyed the 360 degree views from the summit trig point.
Once back in Scorton we enjoyed a welcome brew in the cosy Priory Cafe.

The Commitments

Age Concern Film Show
Don’t miss The Duke which will be showing next Tuesday 7th of February at the Plaza Cinema. This very funny film tells the story of one man’s battle to find common sense in the world. Jim Broadbent stars as the man who took things into his own hand with hilarious consequences.
