Lots of coffee shops and places to eat.  You can lunch here or take a picnic to Nostell Priory which has some lovely areas to eat. Full of Robert Adam and Chippendale influence. This beautiful house is full of treasures which includes a 300 year old doll’s house, which has been in the family for the duration, lovely gardens and for the more energetic there are interesting walks in the spacious grounds and by the lakes. The Taiji group is currently closed as the leader, Sheila, has decided to ‘retire’.

A new u3a member is proposing a new group running a “Flex, Strengthen and Relax” class aimed at improving strength and flexibility and lowering blood pressure and anxiety.
