As ‘ The Prince of Wales’ was docked at the Liverpool Cruiser Terminal our group of 8 decided to incorporate a visit to see her as part of our ride on Monday March 2nd. A most impressive sight. She is so large we could only get a small portion of Her in the picture.
The ride consisted of taking the train to Brunswick Station and cycling from there to the pier head and the Cruise Terminal, followed by the usual Cup of Tea. A local Bobby was persuaded to take the photo for us.
we then cycled home via the Leeds Liverpool Canal.
Weather was good for the first time in weeks.
Hello to all Easy Riders, I’m a member of Alan Carrs group
For the last 5/6 years, previously with Phil. I’m still pretty fit but having had a few setbacks over the last couple of years I’m finding really difficult to keep up with the greater distances that have been the norm now for the past year or so.
Anyway, I would like to give Easy riders a go, I’m still pretty fit and well capable of 25miles on the flat, or even with a few hills. When the group has its next ride can I join in please ? I’ve got 3 very nice bikes and am member of Maghull U3a and quite a jolly chap. Do you still go on a Monday, that’s fine for me.
I’ve also been with Phils breakaway group, but he’s not been out for a while and I know. He has family issues.
