Please note that we will be meeting on Friday 1st November a week later than usual.  We will be visiting Ormskirk and meeting from 1230 in the Court Leet.  After food and a couple of ales we will visit the newly refurbished Buck I’th Vine just 2 minutes away and then back down the street to Tap Room No 12. We will probably head over to the Cricketers before heading home.  The picture below was taken in the Helter Skelter in Frodsham on last month’s day out.  Despite torrential rain most of the day we managed to keep dry, outside that is!

Due to multiple U3A commitments, I have requested to step down as leader for this group. Unfortunately no one from the group feels they wish to take over, so the group has closed. Hopefully at some future point a new leader may come forward and the group can be revamped. Thanks to all the members who have contributed in the past. Marg kendall.
