Friday August 9th and a visit to one of the country’s Premier Flower show events, attracting top exhibitors from all over the country. The Shrewsbury Flower Show is held in The Quarry Park, the main recreational park for the town’s residents.  The show has been held in this location for over 130 years placing the event in The Guinness Book of World Records for the longest running horticulture event held in the same location.

The show features TV personalities, celebrity chefs, singers and spectacular arena acts entertaining the crowds.  The Quarry Marquee, the main floral venue, is home to the top national growers who create stunning displays to admire and inspire. There is something for everyone you can even get a pass out to visit the town and then go back into the show.  This should be a great day out.
