Day trips – dangerous for the figure?

We set off  from the Square for the Chocolate House at Blackburn . On arrival we were greeted by Susan and offered a choice of tea/coffee/juice or their own special recipe of hot chocolate as well as delicious chocolate buttons and truffles.  This was followed by a demonstration of dipping/decorating chocolates and a display of their special order goodies – amazing!  Even looking made you feel the calories piling on – all good for the figure.! 30th March update £960

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to all our members who have so generously sponsored Maria Mullin to run in the London Marathon at the end of April to raise money for Dementia Revolution.

So far you have raised £960 to fund research to help fight this dreadful disease.

She will be running in memory of her grandad George who enjoyed many happy years in our U3A before he died.

If you would still like to help you can donate online here. For offline donations please see Wanda & Brian Leach at Tuesday coffee mornings.
