The next walk will take place on 5th October. 2 choices of walk; 12 miles or 5 miles. Both commence at 10am but please note different start points. The long walk will leave from  the Punch Bowl, Sefton Village. The short walk will leave from the Hesketh Arms, Rufford.

Long Walk: Meet at 9:50 to leave at 10am. Walk is approx. 12 miles. Cars can be left in the car park. Country, Canal and Coast. Mostly good footpaths but might be muddy in places so good footwear is essential. We will have a coffee stop at approx. 5 mile marker. Packed lunch can be eaten on route or there will be chance to have a meal at the end of the walk. We will pass near to several train stations, so walk can be shortened for anyone who wishes to only do part. Bring your travel pass. However trains may be disrupted due to Merseyrail strike action.

Short walk: Meet at 10am. The walk is around Mere Sands returning to the start point. Mostly flat paths but there may be mud in places so good footwear is essential. There will be a coffee stop at Mere Sands visitor centre part way around the walk.
