Todays walk of 5.6 miles was enjoyed by fifteen people, the weather was superb as was the meal afterwards at the pub. Many thanks to Sue Daniels for leading and the pub staff who opened up early for us to pre-order.

A lot of interest has been shown for this group to start and our first lunch will be at the Running Horses, a lovely local country pub set on the banks of the canal in Bells Lane, off Southport Road, Lydiate, on Sunday 5th June at l pm (arrive 12.30pm)
The price has been negotiated for a 2 course lunch at £10.

Taking advantage of the sunny day, 7 members of the pedal pushers cycling group set out as usual from Litherland Sports park. Rather than our usual tow path routes we ventured forth along Dunningsbridge Road, using the side of the road cycle ways, then took the road route towards Walton Vale and joined the Cheshire Lines path at Orrell Park.
