Taking advantage of the sunny day, 7 members of the pedal pushers cycling group set out as usual from Litherland Sports park. Rather than our usual tow path routes we ventured forth along Dunningsbridge Road, using the side of the road cycle ways, then took the road route towards Walton Vale and joined the Cheshire Lines path at Orrell Park. From here we had a lovely ride as far as Walton Hall Park where we had a brief rest in the sunshine to have a refreshment stop before retracing our wheels back to the sports centre. Ross Adams (Active Sefton and CTC) has been unable to accompany us for the last few weeks but we know he is keeping up to date with our progress in anticipation of what will probably be our last ride with him in early June.
Excellent update Margaret and well done for riding there and back to Lithetland , thanks also to our leader Bill for a great route
