Crafted Monday 1st August 2016
The Crafted exhibition is a biennial show, presenting the work of makers from areas of contemporary craft, design, sculpture and new art.
For the first time, Crafted will be shown in both Kirkby Gallery and Huyton Gallery simultaneously, offering more opportunity to see some of the best artwork from across the UK.
Another special feature to this exhibition is that central to the arm of the show in Kirkby Gallery, are the work of nine UK designers, on loan from The Crafts Council, setting the tone for this stunning exhibition.
The exhibition in both Kirkby Gallery and Huyton Gallery also exhibits the work of 23 of the UK’s most exciting designers and makers – there truly are lots to see in this double exhibition!
Artists on show from the Crafts Council Collection include: Stephen Dixon, Michael Eden, Junko Mori, Paul Scott, Yoko Izawa, David Clarke, David Watkins, Tord Boontje and David Tucker.
Once again we are offered a special tour of this glittering display of craft.
Tina will be giving an introductory talk prior to viewing.
