How many times have we passed the Church of St.Margaret of Antioch, which is better known as The Marble Church at St.Asaph? This time we will stop and have a Blue Badge Guided Tour and will be told all about the fascinating history of this beautiful building and the significance of the Canadian War Graves, but not until we have had our morning coffee/biscuits at the lovely Oriel Country House Hotel set in beautiful Gardens.
Then we will continue on our way to the very popular Betws -Y- Coed, which is the principal village in the Snowdonia National Park. Set in wonderful scenery, there are ancient bridges, cascading waterfalls, including the impressive Swallow Falls, a main High Street with numerous Inns, Shops, Cafes etc. The Railway Station has a small Museum and for the energetic there are beautiful local walks.
