Pedal Pushers
Leaderless today as both Ross and Bill were unavailable, five Pedal Pushers bravely set forth. ( Shades of Enid Blyton!) So building on the success of last weeks ride we decided to tackle the same route again but to push the distance a little further. We did a route to Vauxhall and back, a distance of 13 .5 miles in under 3 hours. Factoring in a brief stop to refresh both legs and other anatomical parts, the five of us were rightly pleased with our success. The soaring heights of Beetham Tower and the Plaza building were tantalisingly within view, but we decided to leave the final leg into the city for another occasion. However it’s safe to say that we have more than achieved our initial aims and the group members are growing in cycling confidence, ability and stamina . Now where shall we go next week????
