ULVERSTON and MANJUSHRI KADAMPA MEDITATION CENTRE

We will be making a visit to Ulverston, a historic town in West Cumbria.  There are quaint individual shops, plenty of cafes for morning coffee,/lunch, Cumbrian Glass where we can see the glass making process and it is Market Day.

Then a unique opportunity to visit the Manjushri Kadampa Buddhist Temple and Meditation Centre which is set in 70 acres of parkland with a wonderful peaceful environment.  There is a historic house to visit, the Temple which houses the largest Buddhist Statue in the West, short walks and it is right on the Morecambe Bay Shoreline. We will have a full guided tour and can find out all we need to know about this fascinating place.  Followed by afternoon tea.  Dep.8.45am Ret.6pm. Price: £17 includes guided tour/afternoon tea.
