Congratulations to John McKenzie, our latest Walking Group Leader. John recently attended a training course, provided by Sefton Active Walks, on Tuesday, 24th March 2015, when he qualified as a Walking Group Leader. This means we now have three trained leaders who can lead our Monday walks. John will be leading his first walk this Monday.
5k BUNNY RUN
On Sunday, 29th March 2015, together with Brenda McKenzie, we completed the Woodlands Hospice Sponsored 5k Bunny Run, through the beautiful grounds of Croxteth Hall Country Park, in aid of Woodlands Hospice. Continue reading

There will be a varied display of art / craft work on show, many from local artists.

Membership renewals start this week with fees kept to the sane level £12 for the year which includes the national Third Age Matters magazine issued 5 times a year, delivered to your door as well as the 10 issues of our regular Newsletter.
When March arrives you should see robins,sparrows, and blackbirds flying across your garden with twigs leaves and moss that they are using to build their nests. I have started to help them by leaving moss, twigs and dried leaves by the feeders. Put out some nest boxes. Choose somewhere sheltered and you will soon have a family of birds in your garden.
